Golden Absorbent Ground creates a surface with the absorbency of paper, offering excellent staining and wash effects. The greater the number of layers, the greater the absorbency of the final surface.

As with most acrylic grounds, it is very flexible and can therefore be applied to non-rigid substrates such as canvas. It is recommended that basic acrylic gesso is used as an initial coat.
